Chocolates, Road Trips, Friends and Festival...all in a day!

everything freshly from our road trip and good finds last saturday...we had a wonderful weekend :)

well, after picking up our boxes of FFG (Food For the Gods) at Pines Brownies last Saturday morning we explore a bit and drive towards Roces Avenue to look for this store that sells Nama chocolates...the place is Heavenly Chocolates, and was so jumpy to get a free taste of this chocolate and probably judge how comparable it is to Royce. should say that this is very very close to Royce Nama Chocolates and a lot more cheaper, a box is sold for P350.00 only.

we brought 4 boxes of Strawberry flavor...btw, they also sell chocolate fondue package ideal for small and potluck parties.

later that same Saturday afternoon (Dec 20), the whole family except for Tatay travel north for this year's Giant Lantern Festival at Robinsons Starmills San Fernando, Pampanga. the kids were ever excited everytime we travel in group because we get along during the entire travel period, we exchange stories, we share whatever is there to share --it's wholly a famliy bonding!

captured during the Giant Lantern Festival in SF Pampanga...big crowd awaits the opening ceremony and lightning of the lanterns at Robinsons Starmills..

we enjoy this day though we were very tired, hungry and sleepless...

before i forgot, Robinsons Starmills houses to some international brands at great value --Mango Outlet (70%), Bossini, Naturalizer, Florsheim, Topshop and Plain and Prints (50%)

we did not take time to finish the entire program because the kids were getting irritated of the humid weather, decided to leave at around 10:00pm while the lanters were being lighted this time...but before our exit at NLEX, i dropped by Lourdes Heights to see my old friend Arlene (the last time i saw her was more than a decade ago...so finally!),

Arlene and Moi, she was the missing link of LEARA :)

it's Blakdyak! actually, this was at a traffic slam near crossing while we are on our way to exit Manila...Oliver and Blakdyak converse in native dialect (as if they knew each other dearly!)

it's almost christmas! happy holidays to everyone!
