to Dolores Quezon...

last Saturday, finally decided to join Minerva and family going to Dolores Quezon for Ana's post birthday party and his dad too...so our meet up was at Select SLEX, we arrived an hour late due to heavy traffic because of the on going renovation at the highway...acc to Ana dear it's a rough 2 hours drive..we used the Lucena/Batangas Exit,

heading to Alaminos, staying in line with our convoy (Carlos)...

then finally hit the city town of San Pablo, Ana will be meeting us in Chowking right after the SPC Hospital...

then on our way to Dolores now, yehey sa wakas! (seems like a town fiesta is coming here...)
we had an initial lunch right after our arrival, love the dinuguan which was served with hot rice and a glass of Coke :) ... now it high time for the pictorial under the shaded lawn, S-M-I-L-E girls!

Minerva & Ms. Analyn Chumacera (a.k.a Ana)

Tita Jamille and Chimmy (my inaanak)...

Tres Amigas, we missed you Cata during this shot :(

the four of us (Minerva, Ana, Moi and Jammie)...

Ana's family, his dad on his 60th Birthday Party....

so after a second round of pasta and noodles, and after the girls had finished almost a pack of Marlboro we say our good byes to the celebrants and headed towards home --Manila!

oh, can you see who's on our backseat??? it's Bei...we brought her along, though she didn't enjoy the warm weather she enjoyed mostly being on the road...

and there's Oliver and me :)

next weekend, will be in Cavite again...

About this day...

i went to work late as usual, ride a cab on my way to work (wednesday is coding...)

oh, before i left the house i had macaroni soup which is last night's dinner too...

arriving at greenhills office, i went blogging the whole morning :)

come 11am i was eating my packed lunch already...a cup of coffee followed thereafter,

by 12noon i was getting ready to take a nap...

i started working, seriously working by mid afternoon...

i started calling local agents, following up deliveries, backlogs, pick-ups....and so on and so forth...

by 4pm, i got a decent merienda...clubhouse from Tropical Hut paired with a regular size of soda...

its past 7pm now, and still here i am blogging in between work...

will be home by 8pm (hopefully)...

and will hit the bed by 1am...

Jack's Loft dinner with HS friends...

my hs bf Arthur (bestfriend lang...hehehe) went home unscheduled from abroad for a 3 weeks vacation and during his short stay he wanted to see old hs friends. much as i wanted everyone to get together only a number were manila based.

so i invited three more friends to join us over dinner last May 28, 2008. i chose Jack's Loft over Pancake House in Robinson's Galleria because of my fascination to their "fish bowl icead tea" and chicken fingers :) i even loved the panini sandwich...

Fish Bowl Icead Tea (can be shared, though i can finished all by myself...)
Panini Sandwich (meant for sharing again...)
Chicken Fingers

yeah, had a good dinner again and a good coffee followed after... we settled for Gloria Jeans for some chillers and stay to chew the fat away :)

so, there's Henry and Arthur being attentive to Albert's speeches --peace man!

and finally the four us...thanks to Henry's wife Shello for this shot :)

Cafe Breton --missed this :)

my good friend Tating and i used to hang out often at Cafe Breton Greenbelt 3 last year, perhaps during the entire preparation of her wedding...we enjoyed great breakfast on Saturday's and most was late dinner on weekdays. so eventually after her july 2007 wedding, i seldom get to see her and seldom feast on their heavenly filled crepes...well, i need a new breton buddy and seems my sister will be lucky enough to be the preferred one :)

she was bugging me since december actually for a breton treat at Cliffhouse Tagaytay but getting sleep is more rewarding everytime we are in cavite... so the breton experience for her was far from happening...

the good thing came about a week ago, i was in Makati's CBD attending a meeting and my wanting not to go back to Greenhills ended up meeting my sister at the Enterprise Center... and decided to walk around... and finally had a fulfilling meal at Cafe Breton!

Chicken Run La Pinay (love this, love this...another order please!)
Breton Mozarella Burger (kinda heavy!)
OJ (pureeee)

damages is around P600.00++

Gary V's Gift of Love!

Last Thursday night we watched Gary V's Gift of Love concert at Music Museum, the invitation was sent out by HP (ever generous and classy!)...it was lively as expected, and very inspiring..it was not at all singing and shouting for joy..it was more of Gary V's sharing his life's lesson, his family, his wit, his blessings, his having juvenile diabetes, his being weak...the person in him was really outstanding...his music and songs was even more!

Too bad nobody had a decent digicam that night so i content myself capturing him on my mobile cam...

Gary V duets with his eldest son Paolo...

with only daughter Keana this time...

and finally performing with his second son, Gabriel...

his wife Angeli was on the orchestra center just a few seat from us and a lot of celebrity was there too...to name a few, Lorna T, Coney Reyes, Amy Autria, Fanny Serrano, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan...and all along the show i was deeply holding my breathe as Gary V performs full of energy :)

Btw, i got a freebie cd of his Rebirth Album :)

Ana's Birthday

it was Ana's 37th birthday yesterday but she had taken a birthday leave so we helped blow her birthday candles today :)

happy birthday deareast Ana!

Saturday Lunch at Binondo...

Oliver and I loved to go on side trips and food trips,...and everytime we are in downtown Binondo we would settle for some cheap hole in the wall restaurant :)

Last Saturday, we dine in at Estero and the usual i ordered my fave seafood mix, calamares and his fave beef litid over fried rice and soda...the ordering size we had was small for all dishes, but big enough to satisfy our hunger...

Calamares (P80.00 Small)
Beef Litid (P80.00 Small)Seafood Mix (P80.00 Small)
Fried Rice P60.00, bottle of soda cost P15.00 80z.
Total damages was P330.00 (no service charge)... my Godzilla ice cream last friday night was expensive by P5.00 over a splendid lunch at Estero :)

Right after, we headed just across and bought some bread and take home pasalubong at Salazar Bakery...

Whoah! It's been a day! Love the food and the chinese community!

My New Biz...

weekly fuel hike, fare increases, Bea's maintenance, parking fees, insurance, rentals, expensive friday night dinner and coffee..coffee and coffee...without any side biz i am not so sure if i can still maintain everything and so forth :(

i think everyone needs more than a paycheck every 15th and 30th, and to cover the not so important expenses and luxuries...so i've been out last Saturday to Binondo, do some pre-selling requirement and presto i'll be selling this stuff starting Monday.

MICHAELA bags are trendy and fashionable, durable (based on my experience) and inexpensive and i do offer friendly and affordable terms for people who are on a budget :)

for inquiries and ordering, please leave a comment here :)

Iceberg's on a rainy Friday night :)

yeah! after Oliver and i had some hot pot dishes at Northpark, Park Square last friday night...and after the NP crew told me that the almond jelly with tropical fruit is not available, we went on and dine in at Iceberg's for some Godzilla ice cream...so so love the toppers! peaches, mango, sliced almonds, marshmallows, i wish they can serve it with plenty of cherries as well :)
damages for this lone serving of ice cream is P335.00
