On the twelfth day of Christmas

It’s Christmas Day! And I was forced to wake up early to witness the kid’s open their Christmas presents.

I remember our childhood, when Che and I would do the same on Christmas morning. I thank my parents for introducing us the Santa spirit, oh well! I don’t really care if it’s just make believe, for me Santa would always be there to make little kid’s wish come true.

Together with the kids our canine housemates was dressed up for the big day. Bea and Shen were so adorable on their cutie shirts.

Later on Christmas Day, we drove to Tagaytay with Irish, Joel & Jenna with their kids Aejna & Juliene. As repeat of last year, we would gather over a round of coffee at Starbucks in spite of the big crowd.

As sneak peek of our Christmas all-together.

We went home almost midnight and before we went to bed, we had a few photos of this special day again.

The twelve days of Christmas isn’t over yet….Merry Christmas and God Bless us all!

On the eleventh day of Christmas

Today we drive south to spend Christmas with my family. We went home with tons of goodies and gifts, which made the kids excited even more.

In a few more hours, it will be Christmas Day! And I can’t help but expect Santa to grant my wishes. Oh my! I should have wrote a letter too just like Sam’s…hehehe

Before bedtime, I asked the kids to give Kit their best smile.

By the way, Ate Shen is back with us. The kids were so glad to see her again.

Truly, it’s Christmas Day! Merry, Merry Christmas to all!

May all of us receive what our hearts desire…

On the tenth day of Christmas

I am still ditching heavy work at my office with the rest of my staff and day dreaming from time to time…oh my! I want these --

a pair of red havaianas metallic logo
a black nine west undercover bag
a black purse, and
a trip to the beach...

Honey, ano kaya gift mo for Mommy and Bei?

On the ninth day of Christmas

Oliver and I brought home most of the gifts we received from our respective offices. I received mostly boxes of chocolates this year and I love it while Oliver received mostly t-shirts and towels.

See how excited our Bea to open the gifts? She cannot help but sniff and say “anything for me Mom and Dad?” Oh well, we have something for her too on Christmas day.

Merry Christmas Bei!

On the eight day of Christmas

Gift giving! These items intended for friends.

Happy Holidays!

On the seventh day of Christmas

Finally, after a year we are back! Our garage sale last Sunday was a hit to Oliver’s neighbors in Makati. We sold out mostly jackets, pullovers, t-shirts, jeans, bags, Sam’s clothes and some of my shoes.

Manang Linda was a big help, she was the one who informed the community about this sale we ran over.

Thank you for smiling at my cam folks; it was such a stress reliever that day seeing everyone happy.

I am amazed that in spite of this street life, people are so kind and welcoming…thank you, thank you and thank you...

And it was overwhelming to see how people love our items. Thank you again for all who made our quota that day :)

On the sixth day of Christmas

We were supposed to have our garage sale but Oliver and I were a little unprepared so we decided to skip and set the date to Sunday. It is because our schedule was loaded and we need to drive all the way to Masambong, Mandaluyong and Makati…what a day! Christmas is much felt because of the heavy traffic…hehehe

On the fifth day of Christmas

Oliver and I went to Sto Nino Parish in Pandacan, to pay respect to Pel’s mother, who passed away last Tuesday night.

May her sould rest in peace...

Ocampo-Dinglasan Wedding

December 8, 2009 my paternal cousin Bubuy (aka Roj) married Nina on a celebrated church wedding at St. John Don Bosco Parish Makati.

It was the invitation I was talking about last November, which I was hesitant to attend.

Anyway, we (the whole family) went, though Che and I missed the church ceremony we were able to make it at the cocktails and dinner.

The reception was held at Blue Leaf in McKinley Hills. It was a mini reunion since some relatives from my father side attended the event too.

And though we were not close cousins, it was nice to see Ate Lyra after 10 long years. She was stunning pretty that night :)

After dinner and some chitchats we bid goodbye to Kakang Lydia and Kuya Raul. We did not bother to finish the programme since we were Cavite bound that night.

A sneak peak during the wedding --

To Roj and Nina, our best wishes! May you have a happy married life :)

Another Party!

A week ago, it was our department’s Christmas Party. Though it was held only at our office, it was packed, with many food, games, prizes and surprises. Our big bosses had been so generous every year to host this party of the support and sales team.

Like last year we also had the photo wall again, everyone says cheese with his or her best smiles ever. And this year the best smile gets something.

our Product Management Group family

another new set for this year, si Jingky lang ang luma :

Bountiful of food awaits everyone at dinner. We had pasta, noodles, vegetable concoctions, pica pica, sweets, fresh fruits and the star of the party, of course!

Small Lechon P6K plus P500.00 delivery charge

Hecky’s Lechon! The one tagged as the organic lechon. Now I wonder what do they eat…hmmmm...

After the filling dinner, we had a small program and raffle. We had this game ala Pinoy Henyo, which my friend Minerva gamely joins up.

The much-awaited raffle came so everyone pay attention please :)

Sadly, I was one of the first three names that were called for the minor prize and Ana likes my item so I gave it away…lol!

However, one of my girls bagged one of the major prizes. Bel won a Kodak 10MP Digicam, happy for her.

In general, everyone had a great time!

On the fourth day of Christmas

My sister and I went shopping all over again at Greenhills. We haggle for toys this time, which are for those little kids that would definitely visit our house on the 25th.

At the end of our three hours stride, we settle for the best coffee we know. And that ends our day!

On the third day of Christmas

The sms I received saddened me today. It tells about Pel’s mother passing away. For all you know, Pel is a colleague at my previous work, a friend and all in all one of my Piltea bro.

Oliver and I extend our Condolences to the Briones family.

Mano Po, An ICS Christmas Celebration

Every year ICS Christmas party is something to look forward; festive is the perfect word to describe it. The company's top management wanted the best every year so the idea of embracing their culture would be the brightest (i thought, oh! everyone does)...

ICS goes Chinese and the theme "Mano Po, An ICS Christmas Celebration" won the hearts of our bosses. I was proud to be part of the Christmas committee who put a lot of effort doing the stage decorations, and programme, which includes the lively games…hooray!

Even though our department did not bagged the big prize for the “Mano Po Look Contest” we enjoy the food. The Lauriat serving may be a little different from the buffet style we were used to but everything went smooth. The food was so Chinese and so I love it!

Fried Pigeon

Steamed Fish

Garlic Crabs

And what’s a Christmas party without those dozen pics?
