Wai Ying Fastfood

apr 25 - we were supposed to have lunch at Wai Ying Fastfood last Sat but ended with dinner. earlier we went to the wake of Shello's (Henry's wifey) father in Veronica Chapel Pasay City..and it was like Shello was holding us to leave soon, she had a lot of stories these days and i really pity this girl. i only wish she gets peace and a happy family after his dad's cremation.

well, this post is supposed to be a food blog so let's start here --i had my first taste of Wai Ying sometime in 2005 when Oliver first brought me here and from then on we frequent this place for fresh and cheap dimsum and rice toppings too. normally we would get here on weekends when we are exhausted on pasta and pizza, home cooking and McDonald's. not to mention, this is our gateway to Divi shopping too...hehehe, we both love going to Divine Mart and 168 Mall. many times we have invited family and friends to try this fast food and they all went home satified too (i guess so??), Sam especially love their siomai and my old time favorite will be their steamed tafu and Oliver loves their hakaw...burp!

Steamed Rice with Spareribs, Steamed Tafu, Hakaw, Broccolli flower, Buchi

810 Benavidez St., Binondo, Manila

Price is so reasonable (dimsum order range from P40-60, and rice toppings is P110.00, they have whole order of roasted duck and suckling pig too). btw, aside from what we ate we asked the crew for Asado Pao and Shark's Fin Dumpling to go and we pay P570.00 all in. definitely be back again and again...try it!
