Holiday at the Beach

Following December 27 last year, Oliver and I went to work for another two days for the year-end close. Then, we enjoyed another five days off, which we spent at the beach, road tripping, coffee sipping and numerous eat-outs with my most wanted cousins.

Let’s start with December 30 when we hit the beach at San Juan, Batangas. It was shortly planned after several exchanges of sms.

Our destination was none other than La Luz Beach Resort, which had a very good review from my friends and online friends as well. Though reservation was required, we took chance as walk-in guests and were thankful enough that the resort staffs were kind to accommodate us. We were even offered lunch instantly even if we arrived past their check-in schedule.

Since, Batangas is only 2 hours drive from Tagaytay and everyone was expected to be busy the following day (New Year’s Eve) we did not took the overnight package and settle down for the day-trip package only. It’s P750.00 per head with buffet lunch and afternoon snack inclusion and free use of cabanas, shower and restrooms, and free parking of course.

Kids below 8 years old is free also so my sister Che saved P750.00 for Pao and my cousin Joel saved P1,500.00 for her two girls. For overnight stay, the rate is P1, 050.00 per head plus room accommodation, which is very affordable.

As I mentioned earlier all meals were served buffet, and for lunch we had smoked tilapia, pork caldereta, chicken in coconut milk, local pinakbet; dessert was watermelon. Mango juice serving was overflowing and the burong manga was a winner to our big appetite!

Right after the sumptuous lunch, everyone head straight to the beach while the big boys had siesta back on the cabanas. The usual, we cam whore a lot...lol!

It’s not normal to hit the beach side on cold December but we definitely love the sand, the water, the relaxed and natural atmosphere La Luz had.

I bet you would agree once you step foot on this place. Again, our thank you to La Luz staff for the warm accommodation. We would definitely be back!

Oh, another thing they allow pets to their resort so our Bea is most welcome to vist soon :)
